Over the past month I have seen so many incredible developments.
- I received nearly 200 requests for Pump Strong bands (and they keep on coming)
- The Pump Strong America page reached 500 likes
- We (the Pump Strong America Moderators) developed Rules and Guidelines
- We developed a Mission Statement
- Pump Strong America expanded to Canada
And, there is so much more in the works. (The moderator group is now a strong team of 21 helping make it all happen. If you’re interested in joining our moderator team, read this.)
Today, we are excited to announce that we are expanding Pump Strong America to include a few need/interest-based chapters in addition to our location-based ones. Since many pumping moms face very specific challenges, we would like to provide a way to connect those moms with others dealing with the same or similar challenges.
That is why we are starting with a Pump Strong Military chapter for pumping military moms or spouses.
Over the next few weeks, we will carefully consider what chapters would make the greatest impact based on specific needs/interests (such as a chapter for teachers or chapters for religious groups with special restrictions). We welcome any and all suggestions, as it will help us decide which chapters to create.
